Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown, 310 Pearl Street NW, for both the night of the 22nd and the night of the 23rd at a rate of $122.00 plus tax per night. Reservations can be made by calling 616-235-7611 by May 9th. (19 rooms held). Government rate may be available, you will need to ask when you call.

Hampton Inn of Downtown GR, 433 Dudley Place NE at a rate of $139 for 2 Queens, and $149 for a king, plus tax. Reservations can be made by calling 616-456-2000 by April 22nd. (5 of each room type held.) No government rate on these dates.

If you are a tax free institution, be sure to provide your federal ID number and bring documentation with you to avoid the extra fees.

There are a few other hotels in the area, however the Amway, JW Marriott, and Courtyard by Marriott could not accommodate a block of rooms due to the POAM Conference that is also in town that week.  Other locations such as the Homewood Suites by Hilton were nearly $200 per night, group rate.

Parking

Parking will be available on campus in the Bostwick Parking Ramp, across Ransom Street from the conference location. There are entrances on the 1st floor and the roof level. Attendees should pull a ticket at entry, and validation tickets will be provided upon check in at the conference.  The entrance to the ATC Building is via the catwalk off the roof level of the ramp.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Rebecca Whitman at (616) 234-4012 or rwhitman@grcc.edu

Grand Rapids Community College looks forward to hosting MACLEA and its members.
